The Year 2013

I do not think the world is going to end on Friday the 21st. A lot of people are probably going to do stupid things before that time in case the world does indeed end. There have been many other years that people said the world was going to end. But we are still here so this time is going to be the same and nothing will happen to us. In the year 2013 I think that we will have more technology and a better economy but a lot of restaurants will  be built. Everyone is going to be lazy and fat and not want to do anything.

North Korea Extends Launch Window

North Korea has extended for a long-rang rocket launch for a week after they found technical problems in the engine. North Korea is aiming at putting scientific satellite into orbit. As a result of the technical difficulties with the engine they have decided to extend the launch period until December 29th. This problem is not to be "a quick fix" said an engineer in the Aerospace department. There is said to be a number of reasons why Pyongyang's decision to carry out a second launch this year. This is the first attempt for North Korea to launch a rocket in the winter, the timing and preparation and the launch itself depends greatly on the weather conditions.

Teens Charged Over Linesman Death

    On Monday Nieuwenhuizen was pronounced dead in the hospital Nieuwegein. Three Dutch teenagers are being charged with murder of  the volunteer soccer official. The man was beaten up by players  following a match the previous day. Now two 15 year olds and the 16 year old men have been arrested by Dutch police. Nieuwenhuizen's son was playing in the match when this incident occurred. He is the second man to die during an amateur soccer game .The first death that occurred was a 77- year old man in 2011. The players responsible are banned for life and the team is in temporary suspension.

Longest Space Mission For The U.S

   
        A veteran astronaut Captain Scott Kelly, will set the record for the longest single space mission for an American.  NASA announced this on Monday. It is going  to be a one- year mission to the International Space Station in 2015. This trip will help scientist see the effects and living conditions in space for the human body. This one- year increment will expand our knowledge on the effects of microgravity on a human body as NASA prepares for future missions. This is going to help contribute to planning for missions to other celestial worlds, such as an asteroid or Mars.

If  the Mayas are right , then as you all know the world is going to end on December 21,2012. Hotels all over the world want people to come and enjoy the last day they will have on Earth at one of there relaxing hotels. They even have activities for kids to enjoy like cooking and coloring. The "end of the world package" will cost you about 666 dollars a night , in San Diego, there is a train that can out run zombies and a fitness boot camp and where you can enjoy your "last supper" at. This is a hotel that you can do all this stuff and even watch movie before you sleep so you will enjoy your last day on this Earth.

And that is the exact same message that Adam Levine is telling to all the people that are saying mean and hurtful things to Christina. Relative Shoots Costumed Girl

Little girl who is now fighting for her life after being shot by her relative out side a Halloween party because they mistook her for a skunk. The 9-year-old girl was wearing a black dress and a black hat.  Police in western Pennsylvania said the girl went to hide at the edge of the hill when the rest of the guests were dancing and having fun by the building. The sun had set and a relative spotted a dark figure in the distance, the girl was hit in the neck, back and arm. The girl remains in the intensive care. Police will determine later today whether or not there will be charges on the shooter or even how the man is related to the girl. Police would like to add that the man had been drinking.

Should Youth Football Be Banned?

The growing numbers of concussions in football lead to one school in Dover, New Hampshire to ban high school football. Dr. Paul Butler a surgeon and a Dover school board member, to have a lot of concern about the number of blows to the kids head and the repeated head trauma that  the kids are receiving from playing football. Both undetected and detected concussions that the young football players suffer from. according to CNN, studies show that on the long term effects of concussions suggest that football is just to violent of a sport for young kids. Even during practice  kids collide heads which sometimes is hard enough to give them a concussion which if they keep playing the way they are, they will damage their brain even more. according to the NFL concussion report there has already been 51 concussions so far in the 2012's six-week NFL season.

Bullied Michigan Teen Shines As Homecoming Princess

Whitney Kropp was thrown into the spotlight by her peers who nominated her to be on the homecoming court as a prank. Which made her feel like "trash" she thought about killing herself after finding out that it was all a joke. But she would not let her peers bully her to that extent. Whitney stayed on the court to prove to everyone how strong she was and she would not let bulling stop her from having fun. She tells kids not to let people bring you down. A Facebook support page that was made for her already has 96,000 likes. Whitney  is constantly getting e-mails and messages from people telling her how much she inspired them and how proud they are of her to stand up and not let people get her down.

Police Kill Man In Wheelchair

Huston police shot to death a double amputee in a wheelchair because the man was trying to stab the officer with a pen. The man was shot in the head after two police men arrived at a group for the mentally ill. The mans caregiver apparently would not give the man some cigarettes and a soda. Brian Claunch trapped one police officer with his wheelchair in a corner where the man could not get out off. Claunch refused to show the officer what was in his hand and the officer which will remain unnamed, so the other officer Matt Marin was in fear of his partners safety so he open fired on Brian killing him.
